Nick did well when he was showing in the south. Pictures above was a
Group 1 taken in Mesquite, TX. The only time that he had competition was
in the Group ring. All his Championship points were taken either in
Louisville, KY where he did go Best of Breed over Specials from classes or at his
first Nationals. Nick was WD's at those Nationals in PA and was Best
Opposite Sex in the Sweepstakes to a 1/2 sister. He was in the 12-18 class
at the time. He finished his Championship the last day of that circuit
needing one point. He has produced several litter and many dogs that now
are hunting. Nick immediately formed a bond with our family. You can
see in his face and eyes that he loves us all. I now think his first love
is swimming in the creek.
Nick crossed over the rainbow bridge on October 23, 2004 leaving us to meet
on the other side. He has pass on his love and style to his children and
his grand children. He will remain in our hearts forever. He was my
friend and companion. As always my dear friend I will hold you in my heart
and memories for the days of my life.
| Nick was very devoted to his
family. He was OFA Excellent and had his eyes CERF. He
still liked to hunt and enjoys being in the woods until the end. |
