Kate was a Blue merle female who has a ball with life. She started her show career with a Bang getting her first major, then going on to receive her second major in less than a month. She was intelligent and loved doing anything with anyone. Kate was on of those dogs that wanted to be with you every step of the way. She did that until she could not get up anymore and at the end she still wanted to be with you.

'Kate went off to Vanderbilt with my son at the age of 10 weeks, it was a real learning experience for both of them. She was there for about 6 weeks when she came home. She doesn't meet a stranger and loves everyone. She did have a chance to visit Vandy and see all her people friends. It was so funny as she could not make up her mind who she wanted to pet her. Kate ran from each person and back to another to be petted and loved on. You could tell that she remember them all and wanted all of them to pet her immediately.'
