Eric show career started in Tupelo, MS on 5/14/05. Completed his Championship on March 5, 2006 in Pensacola, FL winning BOB over a special. He had several months off due to Hurricane Katrina. All his points were out of the BBX class. He has several group placements with very limited showing with me; 2 Group 1's; 1 Group 2, 1 Group 3 and 2 Group 4's.
Eric lives up to his name in many ways. He is a very happy go lucky dog that has fun with all things that he does do. He carries a heavy coat. He flows across the ground. Eric is a moderate size dog who has attitude to boot. Plans are in the works to compete in agility as he comes along. Eric is co-owned with Jo Kell of Rockin K Kennel. We are super please with what he has produced. Red Merles with Blue eyes, Red/Black tris will all the trim. Blue Merles who have the attitude. Eric has pass on his attitude and his love of life. Sound movers who want to please.
7/30/06-Eric had his first herding lesson. I was pleased with his interest and the "no barking" that he did. He was carefully at first, but when one of the sheep broke away he turned on and brought it back to the others. He quickly realized that he could give chase and bring each back to me. Now to see how the other lessons go as he continues another phase of aussie versatility. Eric is showing a strong instinct that he can go farther. I will be his hindrance more than his ability to continue. Pictures from herding lesson and test. He obtained his HT in 2 Test. Now on to the next level.
1/1/07 Eric is now on the show circuit with Clint Livingston. Watch for him in your area or check back for updates as he shows in 2007.
1/1/07 Eric is now owned by several Ladies who are the "Special Investors" for his show career. This Ladies are not only co-owners but are also the reason that Eric can be out and about with their financial support during this time.
3/31/07 WOW Eric and Clint have made a super team. He is #1 All Breed Points and Breed Points for the end of Feb stats with Canine Chronicle. At this time, Eric and the Livingston Team has earned 1-Group 1; 5 Group 2's; 2 Group 3's and 1 Group 4.
4/5/07 Eric and Clint go Best of Breed at the Wichita Specialty in Wichita, Kansas. Jumbuck, a Black tri son of Eric went WD, BOW for a 5 pt major at 6 months.
5/14/07 Eric is ranked #1 with AKC Top 20 Aussies with 18 Breed wins, 1 Group 1; 8 Group 2's; 2 Group 3's and 2 Group 4's. Total dogs defeated 2,322
6/5/07 Eric has been making his mark in the show ring. He has won another Group 1 with Clint in Laramie, WY plus several others group placements. There is now 4 of his offspring that are pointed, 2 major pointed. Most entered the ring in the last several months. He is consistently in the Top 5 stats in both All Breed and Breed each month.
6/14/07 Stats from Canine Chronicle Eric is #2 in All Breed points with 2641; Breed points #1 with 645; Top 20 herding Group #19: #5 Eukanuba.
6/17 & 6/18 at the Rio Rancho, NM shows Eric and Clint did it again. Won Back to Back Group 1's.
6/23/07 Electric City KC Group 3; 6/24/07 Five Valley KC Group 2
Eric is #1 All Breed and Breed for the month of June with Canine Chronicle. #15 Herding Group
7/6/07 Trinity Valley KC Group 2; 7/8/07 Texas KC Group 3
